Wildfire Gas Grill Comparison Guide
A side-by-side analysis of every Wildfire Ranch PRO appliance we carry — the 30″, 36″, and 42″ built-in gas grills, the 30″ built-in gas griddle, the 15″ side griddle, the 60,000 BTU power burner, and the 30,000 BTU double side burner — across burner BTU, cooking area, ignition, electrical, cutout dimensions, finish options, and the warranty schedule.
One manufacturer, one Ranch PRO architecture. Wildfire Outdoor Living is a brand of RPG Brands, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. The Ranch PRO lineup brings over 20 years of barbecue industry experience into a single architecture — every grill, griddle, side griddle, and burner shares the same 304 stainless steel construction, LED backlit knob bezels, and finish-option scheme.
Two finishes, one architecture, identical performance. Every Ranch PRO appliance ships in Black 304 stainless steel or traditional 304 stainless steel. The finish is cosmetic — same cooking area, same BTU output, same cutout dimensions, same warranty across both finishes. The black-finish variants carry roughly a $200 upcharge over the traditional finish at the same size.
Rear infrared rotisserie burner standard on every grill size. The 30″, 36″, and 42″ built-in grills all ship with a 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner installed for rotisserie cooking — not just the larger sizes. The rotisserie spit and motor are sold separately; the burner itself is included on every Ranch PRO grill.
Tiered limited warranty with lifetime coverage on the core build. Lifetime coverage on the 304 stainless steel housing and frame, cooking grids, warming rack, flavor grids, cast stainless burners, and infrared burners. Five years on valves and manifold. Two years on ignition systems and electric components. One year on all other parts. Residential use only — commercial / rental installs fall under a separate reduced-term schedule.
Spring-assisted hood with interior halogen lighting on the grills. Every Ranch PRO built-in grill has a spring-assisted hood that opens with minimal effort, halogen interior lights for nighttime cooking, and LED backlit knob bezels with red heat indicator lights on the griddle. The hood lights and LED package require a 120V GFI-protected outlet at the island.
Five appliance types, three Serene Yards product pages. The 30″/36″/42″ grills sit on one product page; the 30″ built-in griddle and the 15″ side griddle share a second product page; the 60,000 BTU power burner and the 30,000 BTU double side burner share a third product page. Each product page surfaces every size, finish, and fuel as a variant — order from the variant picker once you've matched the appliance to your island plan.
The Wildfire Brand
Wildfire Outdoor Living — an RPG Brands company, headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona
Wildfire Outdoor Living is a brand of RPG Brands, headquartered at 3515 East Atlanta Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona. The brand brings over 20 years of barbecue industry experience into a single Ranch PRO architecture spanning gas grills, griddles, side griddles, and burners — all designed to drop into the same outdoor kitchen island.
Brand position: every Ranch PRO appliance uses premium 304 stainless steel construction, ships in either a Black 304 stainless or traditional 304 stainless finish, and runs on natural gas or liquid propane. The grills add cast stainless main burners with a 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner standard on every size for rotisserie cooking, a spring-assisted hood, and interior halogen lighting with LED backlit knob bezels. The griddles use U-shaped stainless steel burners on a dedicated flat-top, the power burner runs a single 60,000 BTU cast stainless burner, and the double side burner uses dual cast brass burners — every appliance with LED control-panel lighting.
The lineup we carry covers Ranch PRO Built-In Gas Grills (30″ / 36″ / 42″), the Ranch PRO Built-In Gas Griddles & Side Griddle, and the Ranch PRO Side & Power Burners. Browse the full Wildfire Gas Grills collection for current pricing and inventory across every size, finish, and fuel.
Ranch PRO Product Families
What distinguishes the grills, griddles, side griddle, power burner, and double side burner
The Ranch PRO architecture covers five distinct appliance types. They differ across four axes: function (grill vs flat-top griddle vs single-burner power station vs twin-burner side station), burner architecture (cast stainless main burners + 10,000 BTU infrared rear on the grills, U-shaped stainless tube on the griddles, single 60,000 BTU cast stainless on the power burner, dual cast brass on the double side burner), cooking surface (open grill grates vs steel griddle plate vs open burner top vs stainless cooking grates), and footprint (30″ / 36″ / 42″ on the grills, 30″ griddle / 15″ side griddle, 22¼″ power burner cutout, 13¼″ double side burner cutout). Finish (Black 304 SS or traditional 304 SS) and fuel (natural gas or liquid propane) variants exist on every appliance.
Ranch PRO Built-In Gas Grills — 30″, 36″, 42″ with cast stainless burners + 10,000 BTU rear infrared standard
Three built-in grill sizes on a shared cast-stainless architecture. Every size ships with a 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner installed for rotisserie cooking, a spring-assisted hood that opens with minimal effort, interior halogen lighting, and LED backlit knob bezels — the rotisserie spit and motor are sold separately. Cooking grates are stainless steel; valve-integrated piezo ignition fires each burner without battery dependency, with 120V GFI required at the island for the halogen interior lights and LED package. Three sizes: 30″ WFPRO30G (2 cast stainless main burners, 685 sq in cooking area, 42,000 BTU total), 36″ WFPRO36G (3 main burners, 833 sq in, 58,000 BTU total), 42″ WFPRO42G (4 main burners, 982 sq in, 74,000 BTU total). Each size sells in four configurations — Black 304 SS or traditional 304 SS finish × natural gas or liquid propane fuel. Best fit: a permanent outdoor kitchen island that needs full grilling capacity plus rotisserie cooking on a single appliance.
Ranch PRO Built-In Gas Griddle — 30″ flat-top with two U-shaped stainless burners
The 30″ built-in griddle (WFPRO30GRD) is the primary flat-top in the Ranch PRO lineup. Two U-shaped stainless steel burners deliver 35,000 BTU total across a 526 sq in cooking surface — sized for breakfast cooking, smash burgers, hibachi, fajitas, eggs, bacon, and side-dish prep at scale. The griddle ships with LED backlit knob bezels and red heat indicator lights for visibility at night. Cutout: 29″ × 21⅞″ × 10½″. Like the grills, the griddle requires a 120V GFI outlet at the island for the LED package. Finish options: Black 304 SS or traditional 304 SS. Fuel: natural gas or liquid propane. Best fit: outdoor kitchens that want a dedicated flat-top alongside the grill — instead of swapping cooking surfaces or relying on a portable cart-mounted griddle.
Ranch PRO Side Griddle — 15″ companion flat-top with one U-shaped stainless burner
The 15″ side griddle is sized as a companion unit alongside a grill or another primary appliance. One U-shaped stainless steel burner produces 17,000 BTU, with LED backlit knob bezels carrying through the Ranch PRO design language. Cutout: 13¼″ × 20″ × 9¾″ — fits in the same compact opening as a double side burner. Requires a 120V GFI outlet for the LED bezel. Black 304 SS finish (the side griddle is currently available in black only — no traditional-finish variant in the Ranch PRO side griddle line). Best fit: outdoor kitchens that already have a 30″/36″/42″ Ranch PRO grill and want a small dedicated flat-top for eggs, bacon, sliders, tortillas, or vegetables without giving up the grill grates for direct-flame cooking.
Ranch PRO Power Burner — 60,000 BTU single-burner station
The Ranch PRO power burner (WFPOWBRN) is the high-output station in the lineup. A single 60,000 BTU cast stainless steel burner sits under a stainless grate, with LED backlit knob bezel and the same Ranch PRO 304 stainless construction as the grills and griddles. Cutout: 22¼″ × 21½″ × 10¼″. Best fit: large-stockpot cooking — boiling lobster or crab, paella, low-country boils, deep-fry turkeys, wok cooking, large stock reductions, and outdoor canning. Output sits at the top of the Ranch PRO burner range and matches the heat density of a high-output commercial wok burner. Requires a 120V GFI outlet for the LED bezel. Finish options: Black 304 SS or traditional 304 SS. Fuel: natural gas or liquid propane.
Ranch PRO Double Side Burner — dual cast brass burners for side-dish prep
The double side burner (WFDBLSBRN) is the companion two-burner station for cooking alongside the grill. Two cast brass burners deliver 30,000 BTU total (15,000 BTU each) under a stainless steel cooking grate, with LED backlit knob bezels and the Ranch PRO 304 stainless construction. Cutout: 13¼″ × 20″ × 9¾″ — the same compact opening as the side griddle. Best fit: sautéing onions, simmering sauces, boiling pasta or corn, reducing stocks, and any side-dish prep that benefits from open-flame stovetop cooking next to the grill. Two burners means two independent zones; brass burners hold heat for slow simmering at the low end and sear at the high end. Requires a 120V GFI outlet for the LED package. Finish options: Black 304 SS or traditional 304 SS. Fuel: natural gas or liquid propane.
SKU convention across the Ranch PRO lineup
Ranch PRO SKUs encode the model number first, finish second, and fuel third. Model: WFPRO30G / WFPRO36G / WFPRO42G for the grills, WFPRO30GRD for the 30″ griddle, WFSDGRD for the 15″ side griddle, WFPOWBRN for the power burner, WFDBLSBRN for the double side burner. Finish: BSS = Black 304 stainless steel; SS = traditional 304 stainless steel. Fuel: NG = natural gas; LP = liquid propane. Example: WFPRO42G-BSS-NG is the 42″ built-in grill in Black 304 SS on natural gas.

Every Ranch PRO appliance requires a 120V GFI outlet at the island
The Ranch PRO LED backlit knob bezels and (on the grills) interior halogen hood lights run off a low-voltage transformer that needs a 120V GFI-protected outlet at the island. Ignition itself is valve-integrated piezo — no battery required for sparking — but the lighting package will not function without power at the appliance. Plan the island electrical so a single outlet is reachable from the appliance run.

Cutout dimensions are the rough-opening figures
Cutout W × D × H reflects the rough opening you cut in the island, not the overall product dimensions (which include the lip that rests on the countertop). Plan the island opening from the cutout column and verify clearance to surrounding combustible material — the manufacturer requires at least 24″ from combustible materials on every side, bottom, and back of every Ranch PRO appliance. Allow at least 7″ rear ventilation behind the grill for proper airflow, and 6″ on each side of a grill if the rotisserie option will be used (the motor housing and spit handle extend past the overall grill body). Full clearance and gas inlet pressure details appear in the per-product size guide linked from each product page.
How to Choose
Four questions: grill size, secondary cooking, finish, and fuel
Four questions get you to the right Ranch PRO configuration: how much grill cooking area you need, what cooking happens alongside the grill, which finish matches your island, and what fuel is available at the install location.
1. What grill size matches your household?
- 2–4 people, weeknight grilling, smaller patio: Choose WFPRO30G (30″). Two cast stainless main burners on 685 sq in with the 10,000 BTU rear infrared rotisserie burner standard. Total 42,000 BTU.
- 4–6 people, regular entertaining: Choose WFPRO36G (36″). Three main burners on 833 sq in with the 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner. Total 58,000 BTU — the middle of the Ranch PRO lineup and the most common pick for full backyard outdoor kitchens.
- Large gatherings, 6+ people, fully built-out kitchen: Choose WFPRO42G (42″). Four main burners on 982 sq in with the 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner. Total 74,000 BTU — the flagship grill in the Ranch PRO line.
- Rotisserie cooking: Every Ranch PRO grill size includes the rear infrared burner. Pick the size that matches your cooking volume; the rotisserie option doesn't dictate the size choice. Rotisserie spit and motor sold separately.
2. What cooking happens alongside the grill?
- Breakfast, smash burgers, hibachi, fajitas — primary flat-top cooking: Add the 30″ Ranch PRO Built-In Griddle. 526 sq in cooking surface, 35,000 BTU across two U-shaped stainless burners.
- Eggs, bacon, tortillas, side vegetables — compact flat-top alongside the grill: Add the 15″ Ranch PRO Side Griddle. One 17,000 BTU U-shaped burner in a 13¼″ cutout — fits where a double side burner would otherwise go.
- Boiling, sautéing, sauces, simmering side dishes: Add the Ranch PRO Double Side Burner. 30,000 BTU across two cast brass burners on a stainless cooking grate.
- Stir-fry, paella, lobster pot, deep-fry, large stockpot: Add the Ranch PRO Power Burner. 60,000 BTU on a single cast stainless burner — the highest output station in the lineup.
- Both flat-top and high-output burner cooking: Add the 30″ griddle for daily flat-top use and the power burner for the occasional crab boil / paella / wok cook. Two cutouts, two appliances.
3. Black 304 stainless or traditional 304 stainless finish?
- Black 304 stainless steel: Visually anchors a darker outdoor kitchen palette — slate countertops, dark stone veneer, charcoal or black cabinetry. The black finish is a true 304 stainless substrate underneath, not a painted overlay. Carries roughly a $200 upcharge over the traditional finish at the same size.
- Traditional 304 stainless steel: The brushed silver-tone finish typical of premium built-in grills. Pairs neutrally with most stone, tile, and cabinetry materials. Lower price point at every size.
- Mixing finishes within the same island: Manufacturer documentation doesn't restrict mixing finishes — all 304 stainless. That said, most installs pick one finish for visual consistency across the grill, griddle, and burner cutouts in the same island.
4. Natural gas or liquid propane at the install location?
- Natural gas line at the island: Order the NG configuration on every Ranch PRO appliance — WFPRO30G-BSS-NG / WFPRO30G-SS-NG / WFPRO36G-BSS-NG / WFPRO36G-SS-NG / WFPRO42G-BSS-NG / WFPRO42G-SS-NG on the grills, WFPRO30GRD-BSS-NG / WFPRO30GRD-SS-NG on the 30″ griddle, WFSDGRD-BSS-NG on the side griddle, WFPOWBRN-BSS-NG / WFPOWBRN-SS-NG on the power burner, WFDBLSBRN-BSS-NG / WFDBLSBRN-SS-NG on the double side burner. Inlet pressure is set per the owner's manual; all NG installs require a permanent gas connection at the appliance.
- Propane only (standard 20 lb. cylinder or buried LP tank): Order the LP configuration on every appliance — the LP suffix replaces NG in each SKU. The LP regulator ships factory-set at 11″ water column on the grills, with appliance-specific values documented in each owner's manual.
- Switching fuel later: Each appliance has a published Grill Conversion Guide or Griddle Conversion Guide from the manufacturer that documents the orifice swap. Conversions must be performed by a qualified gas technician.
Common configurations
- 36″ outdoor kitchen, NG, traditional finish, no flat-top: WFPRO36G-SS-NG on its own. 833 sq in cooking surface plus the 10,000 BTU rear infrared rotisserie burner.
- 36″ premium kitchen, NG, black finish, flat-top + side burner: WFPRO36G-BSS-NG + WFPRO30GRD-BSS-NG + WFDBLSBRN-BSS-NG. Grill, griddle, and side burner in one island.
- 42″ flagship kitchen, NG, black finish, full station: WFPRO42G-BSS-NG + WFPRO30GRD-BSS-NG + WFPOWBRN-BSS-NG. 982 sq in grill, 526 sq in griddle, 60,000 BTU power burner.
- 30″ entry kitchen, LP, traditional finish: WFPRO30G-SS-LP with a WFDBLSBRN-SS-LP for side-dish prep.
- Griddle-first kitchen, NG, traditional finish: WFPRO30GRD-SS-NG as the primary built-in. Compact-cutout pairing with a 30″ Ranch PRO grill on the next island bay.
- Side griddle + grill, black finish, LP: WFPRO36G-BSS-LP + WFSDGRD-BSS-LP. Compact 13¼″ cutout for the side griddle next to a 36″ grill.
Warranty
Wildfire Outdoor Living Products Limited Warranty — coverage by component tier
Wildfire publishes a single Products Limited Warranty document that covers every Ranch PRO grill, griddle, side griddle, power burner, and double side burner in the residential lineup. Coverage is tiered by component, with the 304 stainless housing, the cooking grids, the warming rack, the flavor grids, the cast stainless burners, and the infrared burners carrying lifetime terms. Warranty applies to the original purchaser only, requires proof of purchase, and is non-transferable. Sourced from Wildfire manufacturer documentation.
| Term | Covered components |
|---|---|
| Lifetime | Stainless steel housing and frame; cooking grids; warming rack; flavor grids; cast stainless burners; infrared burners. |
| Five years | Valves and manifold. |
| Two years | Ignition systems; electric / plastic components. |
| One year | All parts and components including shipping and handling. |
Residential use only — commercial / rental installs fall under a separate schedule
The Limited Warranty terms above apply to residential use. The warranty is void for Wildfire products used in rental, commercial, or common-area applications — those installs fall under the Common Area Limited Warranty schedule with reduced periods (two years on the items normally covered for life, one year on ignition and electric/plastic components). The warranty does not cover surface corrosion, scratches, or discoloration caused by regular use, and does not include labor charges or shipping for replacement parts. Damage from accidents, abuse, improper installation, use with the wrong fuel, non-compliance with operating instructions, unauthorized alterations, flashback or grease fires, severe weather, and exposure to corrosive atmospheric chemicals is excluded. Products sold from showroom displays carry a one-year warranty provided they are inspected and approved by a certified Wildfire servicer prior to sale. Replacement parts are the exclusive remedy; defective parts may be requested for examination at the customer's prepaid shipping cost.
FAQ
Top questions about Wildfire Ranch PRO appliances
What type of BBQ is Wildfire?
Wildfire Outdoor Living manufactures premium built-in outdoor gas appliances under the Ranch PRO line. The collection covers three built-in gas grill sizes (30″, 36″, 42″), a 30″ built-in gas griddle, a 15″ side griddle, a 60,000 BTU power burner, and a 30,000 BTU double side burner. Every Ranch PRO appliance is built from premium 304 stainless steel in either a traditional brushed finish or a black 304 stainless finish, and runs on natural gas or liquid propane. The Ranch PRO grills use cast stainless main burners with a 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner standard on every size for rotisserie cooking. The brand sits in the premium built-in tier — designed to drop into an outdoor kitchen island alongside companion griddles and burners on the same Ranch PRO architecture.
What is the warranty on Wildfire grills?
The Wildfire Outdoor Living Products Limited Warranty is tiered by component. Two-year coverage on ignition systems and electric/plastic components. One-year coverage on all parts and components including shipping and handling. Coverage applies to the original purchaser only with proof of purchase and is non-transferable. Residential use only — the warranty is void for rental or commercial applications, which fall under the separate Common Area Limited Warranty schedule with reduced terms. Replacement parts are the exclusive remedy; labor charges and shipping for replacement parts are not included. Sourced from Wildfire manufacturer documentation.
What is the difference between Black 304 stainless steel and traditional 304 stainless steel on Wildfire Ranch PRO?
Both finishes use the same 304 stainless steel substrate, the same Ranch PRO burner architecture, the same cooking area, the same cutout dimensions, and the same warranty. The difference is cosmetic: the Black 304 stainless steel finish is a black-coated surface that visually anchors a darker outdoor kitchen palette; the traditional 304 stainless steel finish is the brushed silver-tone stainless typical of premium built-in grills. Pricing differs by roughly $200 per appliance at the same size (black finish carries a small upcharge). Every Ranch PRO appliance ships in both finishes — pick the finish that matches the surrounding island and cabinetry, not the cooking performance.
Do Wildfire Ranch PRO grills include a rotisserie?
Every Ranch PRO built-in grill — 30″, 36″, and 42″ — ships with a 10,000 BTU infrared rear burner installed for rotisserie cooking. The rotisserie spit and motor are sold separately. The motor mounts to the left side of the grill and the spit clears the cooking grates and back wall; manufacturer documentation recommends at least 6 inches of clearance on each side of the grill so the motor housing and spit handle have room beyond the overall grill dimensions when planning the island opening.
What is the difference between the Wildfire 30″ built-in griddle and the 15″ side griddle?
Both griddles drop into the same outdoor island and share the same Ranch PRO 304 stainless steel construction, LED backlit knob bezels, and finish options (Black 304 SS or traditional 304 SS on the 30″; Black 304 SS only on the 15″). The 30″ built-in griddle (WFPRO30GRD) has two U-shaped stainless steel burners totaling 35,000 BTU on a 526 sq in cooking surface — sized as a primary flat-top for breakfast, smash burgers, hibachi, and fajitas. The 15″ side griddle (model WFPROSDGRD, sold under the WFSDGRD SKU) has one U-shaped stainless steel burner producing 17,000 BTU — sized as a companion unit alongside a grill for side-dish prep, eggs, bacon, or tortillas. The 30″ griddle takes a 29″ × 21⅞″ × 10½″ cutout; the 15″ side griddle takes a 13¼″ × 20″ × 9¾″ cutout — the same compact opening as the double side burner.
