Fire Magic Aurora and Echelon Built-In Griddles deliver flat-top outdoor cooking on a 30″ stainless steel griddle plate with two independently controlled cooking zones — perfect for breakfast cooking, fajitas, smash burgers, and hibachi-style cooking that benefits from a flat heated surface rather than open grates.

Best for outdoor kitchens that already include a Fire Magic gas grill and want the same family of construction in a dedicated griddle. Three variants: Echelon E660i in natural gas (E660I-1T4N) and propane (E660I-1T4P) — both with the Black Glass touchscreen control panel — plus Aurora A660i in natural gas (A660I-0T4N) with Fire Magic's traditional analog control face.

Common across all three: 30″ × 18″ griddle plate (540 sq in), 45,000 BTU total via two heavy-duty stainless burners with independent zone control, 304 stainless steel construction, and a 110V / 120V outlet for ignition. Optional griddle cover available as accessory. Echelon variants get the Black Glass touchscreen; Aurora variant uses the Aurora analog control face.

Warranty Overview

Key Warranty Periods:

Lifetime: Cast Stainless Steel Burners, Choice Stainless Steel Tubular Burners, Stainless Steel Cooking Grids, Stainless Steel Housings (for as long as you own the product).
Fifteen (15) Years: Valves, Inner Liners, Manifold Assemblies, Porcelain Housings.
Ten (10) Years: Built-in and Portable Griddles, Electric Grills.
Five (5) Years: Infrared Burners, Flavor Grids, Charcoal Grills, Smokers (excluding certain 1-year parts).
Three (3) Years: Sideburners, Exterior GFRC Grill Island Systems, all other grill components.

Authorized Retailer: This warranty is valid only for products purchased through an authorized dealer or distributor. Fire Magic products sold by Serene Yards are sourced through an authorized distributor. Your proof of purchase from us is required for all claims.
Professional Installation Required: The product must be installed by a qualified professional installer as specified in the Owner’s Manual to maintain warranty validity.
Residential Use: This warranty applies to single-family residential use in the USA and Canada.
Labor Costs: This warranty does not cover labor or labor-related charges for repairs.
Claims Process: For all warranty claims, please contact Serene Yards Customer Service first. We will initiate and manage the claims process with our distributor on your behalf. To assist you, please have your proof of purchase, the product's model and serial numbers, and details/photos of the issue ready.

Cutout dimensions: 31¼″ × 23½″ × 11½″ (matches the E660i / A660i gas grill footprint). 18″ minimum side-wall clearance and 4″–18″ rear-wall clearance (depending on combustible vs non-combustible construction); corner walls 24″; cooling appliances 14″; heating appliances 12″ (use this spacing if pairing with an adjacent Fire Magic gas grill in the same island). Gas inlet pressure: natural gas inlet pressure 7″ W.C. normal (5″ min, 10½″ max); propane inlet pressure 11″ W.C. normal (10″ min, 13″ max); ½″ minimum supply pipe; manual shut-off valve required within 6 feet. Total BTU demand: 45,000 (two stainless burners, two independently controlled zones). 110V / 120V outlet required for ignition — same GFCI three-wire grounded receptacle requirement as the Echelon and Aurora gas grills. What is the difference between the Echelon and Aurora Gourmet Griddles?

Cooking specs are identical: same 30″ × 18″ stainless griddle plate (540 sq in), same 45,000 BTU total via two stainless burners, same two independently controlled cooking zones. The difference is the control face. Echelon E660i variants (E660I-1T4N, E660I-1T4P) ship with the Black Glass touchscreen control panel that matches the Echelon Diamond gas grill family. Aurora A660i (A660I-0T4N) uses Fire Magic's traditional analog control face that matches the Aurora gas grill family. Pick the variant whose control face matches your existing or planned Fire Magic gas grill.

Does the griddle require an electrical outlet?

Yes. A 110V / 120V outlet is required for ignition. The outlet must be on a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) protected three-wire grounded receptacle within reach of the grill enclosure. Same electrical requirement as the Echelon and Aurora gas grills — if your outdoor kitchen is already wired for an Echelon or Aurora, the same outlet works for the griddle.

Can I install the griddle next to a Fire Magic gas grill in the same island?

Yes. The griddle's 31¼″ cutout matches the E660i / A660i 30″ gas grill cutout, so adjacent installations work cleanly. Maintain a 12″ minimum clearance between the griddle and the adjacent gas grill (heating appliance to heating appliance). Plan two parallel cutouts in the same counter, with the gas line and 120V electrical service routed to both.

Can I cook at different temperatures in the two zones?

Yes. Each zone is controlled independently — set one zone hot for searing, hold the other zone moderate for finished food, or run both zones at the same temperature for a single uniform 540 sq in cooking surface. The Echelon Black Glass touchscreen variants display the temperature for each zone separately; the Aurora analog variant uses two independent control knobs.
