(3 products)Bull Outdoor Products has manufactured outdoor cooking equipment under the brand since 1992 — family-owned and headquartered in Lodi, California. Three product categories cover the Serene Yards Bull lineup: built-in gas grills (five series — Steer, Outlaw, Lonestar Select, Angus, and Brahma — covering 24″, 30″, and 38″ sizes with 304 stainless steel construction and lifetime-covered grates and inserts), the Commercial Style Griddle (a 30″ chromium-plated drop-in flat-top with 4 welded stainless burners and 60,000 BTU), and the Dual Fuel Countertop Pizza Oven (runs on gas or wood — never both — with a 15-minute cold-start preheat and an included Bluetooth digital thermometer). For a side-by-side spec comparison and how to choose between the five built-in series, see our Bull gas grill comparison guide.

The Construction Behind Bull Gas Grills
Bull's built-in grill lineup is uniformly 304 stainless steel construction — bodies, hoods, and cooking grates — with single-piece dual-lined hoods and piezo igniters with zinc knobs. Burner architecture splits two ways: the Outlaw, Lonestar Select, Angus, and Brahma use cast stainless steel main burners covered for life, while the compact Steer uses welded stainless steel burners covered for 5 years. Inserts and grates are lifetime covered across every series.
Two equipment options stratify the lineup. The Twin Lighting System — interior halogen control panel lighting that requires a GFCI-protected outlet — is standard on the Lonestar Select, Angus, and Brahma. The Infrared Back Burner (15,000 BTU, piezo-ignited) is standard on the Angus and Brahma; it powers the rotisserie kit, which is sold as a separate accessory. Outlaw and Steer ship without lighting or back burner — simpler, lower-priced, and electrically self-sufficient.
The 30″ trio (Outlaw, Lonestar Select, Angus) shares the same 575 sq in main cooking grid, the same 4 cast stainless burners, and the same 60,000 BTU main output — they're differentiated by the lighting and back burner options described above. Brahma is the largest single-zone built-in we carry: 943 sq in main grid, 5 cast stainless burners, 90,000 BTU total with the Infrared Back Burner. Steer is the compact 24″ entry: 429 sq in main grid, 3 welded stainless burners, 45,000 BTU.
Bull Lineup at a Glance
The Bull Built-In Grill product page covers the five-series lineup — Steer (24″, 3 burners, 45,000 BTU), Outlaw (30″, 4 burners, 60,000 BTU), Lonestar Select (30″, 4 burners + Twin Lighting System, 60,000 BTU), Angus (30″, 4 burners + Twin Lighting + Infrared Back Burner, 75,000 BTU), and Brahma (38″, 5 burners + Twin Lighting + Infrared Back Burner, 90,000 BTU). Angus Elite (SKU 42008) and Brahma Elite (SKU 52008) are the same heads bundled with a Bull weather cover. The Bull Commercial Style Griddle (SKU 92008 LP / 92009 NG) drops into the same 30″ island opening as the Outlaw, Lonestar Select, and Angus — 556 sq in chromium-plated griddle plate, 4 welded stainless burners under-plate, and a built-in grease management system. The Bull Dual Fuel Countertop Pizza Oven (SKU 69550 LP / 69564 NG) runs on gas or wood (never both at once) and ships with a removable Bluetooth digital thermometer, two food temperature probes, an ash clean-out basket, and a pizza peel/launcher.
Installation: What to Know Before You Order
Built-in installations require 21 inches minimum clearance from both sides and the rear of the grill to any combustible material. The grill cannot be operated under combustible overhead structures (carports, covered porches, awnings) unless a UL 710 approved heavy-duty vent hood is installed and running. Built-in enclosures must be constructed of non-combustible materials.
Cutout depth (21″) and cutout height (9½″) are uniform across all five built-in series. Cutout width varies: 25⅝″ for the Steer, 31″ for the Outlaw / Lonestar Select / Angus trio, and 38½″ for the Brahma. Gas inlet pressures: 11″ W.C. for liquid propane, 4″ W.C. for natural gas. The Lonestar Select, Angus, and Brahma require a GFCI-protected outlet for the Twin Lighting System transformer (mounted at least 6″ above the ground); the Steer and Outlaw need no electrical connection. For the full cutout dimension table, clearance envelope, gas-line sizing, and electrical requirements, see the Bull built-in grill size guide.
LP installations have additional requirements: a separate, isolated enclosure for the LP gas cylinder with at least 2 inches of clearance from the floor to the ground, vent register openings at the top and bottom of the enclosure, and a means of cylinder retention. The cylinder enclosure must be physically arranged to prevent storing a spare cylinder while the in-use cylinder is connected.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Bull grills good quality?
Every Bull built-in grill we carry uses 304 stainless steel construction with solid stainless steel cooking grates, single-piece dual-lined hoods, and piezo igniters with zinc knobs. The Bull warranty is tiered by part: lifetime on the insert assembly, cooking grates, and cast stainless steel burners; 5 years on welded stainless steel burners (the Steer's burner type); 3 years on the manifold, flame tamers, heat shields, and warming rack; 1 year on the lid, control panel, valves, regulator, and lighting components. The lifetime burner term is unusual at this price point — only cast stainless steel construction qualifies for it.
How long is the Bull warranty on a built-in grill?
Bull publishes a single warranty document that covers every gas grill in the lineup. Coverage by component: Lifetime on the insert assembly, cooking grates, and cast stainless steel burners (Outlaw, Lonestar Select, Angus, Brahma). 5 years on welded stainless steel burners (Steer). 3 years on the manifold, handle end caps, flame tamers, heat shields, warming rack, and porcelain coated burners. 1 year on the lid, control panel, grease tray, bezels, knobs, temperature gauge, valves, regulator, flex tubes, rotisserie burner, transformer, and all lighting components. Pizza ovens carry 1 year on all parts. The warranty applies to the original purchaser at the original installation address; rental, commercial, and non-residential applications void coverage.
Where is Bull headquartered?
Bull Outdoor Products, Inc. is headquartered at 1011 East Pine Street, Lodi, California 95240. The company was founded in 1992 by Mark Nureddine and remains family-owned. Bull's lineup spans built-in grill heads, drop-in charcoal grills, outdoor kitchen islands, refrigeration components, fire features, and pizza ovens — sold through specialty BBQ dealers, online retailers, and the Bull Factory Outlet, plus international operations via Bull Europe and Bull New Zealand.
What is the difference between the five Bull built-in series?
All five share 304 stainless steel construction, single-piece dual-lined hoods, solid stainless steel grates, and piezo ignition. The differences are size, burner count, lighting, and the Infrared Back Burner. Steer is the compact 24″ entry (3 welded burners, 45,000 BTU, no lighting). Outlaw is the simplest 30″ 4-burner (60,000 BTU, no lighting, no back burner). Lonestar Select is the same 30″ chassis with the Twin Lighting System added. Angus adds both the Twin Lighting System and a 15,000 BTU Infrared Back Burner to the 30″ chassis. Brahma is the 38″ 5-burner with both Twin Lighting and Infrared Back Burner — the largest single-zone built-in we carry. For a full side-by-side comparison see the Bull gas grill comparison guide.
