Guides & Downloads

Bull built-in grills cover five series at three sizes — from the 24″ Steer through the 38″ Brahma — for permanent outdoor kitchen integration.

Best for homeowners building a permanent island who want 304 stainless steel construction, lifetime-covered grates and inserts, and a clean choice between basic 4-burner architecture and rotisserie-ready heads with the Twin Lighting System and Infrared Back Burner. Five SKUs map to most outdoor kitchen layouts: 24″ for compact spans, 30″ for the standard 4-burner tier, 38″ for full-width entertaining.

Every variant uses 304 stainless steel construction, solid stainless steel grates, single-piece dual-lined hoods, and piezo igniters with zinc knobs. Total BTU ranges from 45,000 (Steer) to 90,000 (Brahma with the 15,000 BTU Infrared Back Burner). Cast stainless steel main burners on the 30″ trio and Brahma carry a lifetime warranty; Steer's welded burners are covered for five years.

Built around the outdoor kitchen, not bolted onto it.

Why Choose the Bull Outdoor Products Built-In Gas Grills?

Five built-in series, one shared construction. Bull builds the lineup we carry in five series — Steer (24″), Outlaw (30″), Lonestar Select (30″), Angus (30″), and Brahma (38″) — that all share 304 stainless steel construction, single-piece dual-lined hoods, solid stainless steel grates, and piezo igniters with zinc knobs. Differences sit in size, burner count, lighting, and the Infrared Back Burner.

Twin Lighting System and Infrared Back Burner where they matter. The Lonestar Select, Angus, and Brahma carry the Twin Lighting System for cooking after sunset; the Angus and Brahma add a 15,000 BTU Infrared Back Burner that powers the rotisserie kit (sold separately). Outlaw and Steer skip both for a simpler, lower-priced 4-burner and 3-burner footprint.

Cast burners covered for life. Outlaw, Lonestar Select, Angus, and Brahma use cast stainless steel main burners — Bull warranties them for life. Steer's welded stainless steel burners carry a 5-year warranty. Inserts and grates are lifetime covered across every series in the lineup.

For a side-by-side comparison of all five series — cooking area, BTU, lighting, back burner, fuel options, and how to choose — see the Bull gas grill comparison guide.

Bull Outdoor Products Built-In Gas Grills Installation Overview

Plan for a 21-inch minimum clearance from both sides and the rear of the grill to any combustible material; the grill cannot be operated under combustible overhead unless a UL 710 approved heavy-duty vent hood is installed and running. Cutout depth (21″) and cutout height (9½″) are uniform across all five series — only the cutout width varies (25⅝″ Steer, 31″ Outlaw / Lonestar Select / Angus, 38½″ Brahma). Gas inlet pressures: 11″ W.C. for LP, 4″ W.C. for NG. Total BTU demand ranges from 45,000 (Steer) to 90,000 (Brahma with Infrared Back Burner). Steer and Outlaw need no electrical connection; Lonestar Select, Angus, and Brahma require a GFCI-protected outlet for the Twin Lighting System transformer. For the full cutout dimension table, clearance envelope, gas-line sizing, and electrical requirements, see the Bull built-in grill size guide.

FAQ – All Your Questions Answered

What's the difference between the Bull Outlaw, Lonestar Select, and Angus?

All three are 30″ 4-burner built-ins with the same 60,000 BTU main, 575 sq in main grid, and 304 stainless steel construction. Outlaw skips lighting and the Infrared Back Burner — the simplest and lowest-priced of the trio. Lonestar Select adds the Twin Lighting System for night cooking. Angus adds both the Twin Lighting System and a 15,000 BTU Infrared Back Burner that powers the rotisserie kit.

How long is the Bull warranty on a built-in grill?

Bull's warranty is tiered by part. Cooking grates and the insert assembly are covered for life across every series. Cast stainless steel main burners (Outlaw, Lonestar Select, Angus, Brahma) are covered for life; welded stainless steel burners (Steer) are covered for 5 years. The manifold, flame tamers, heat shields, and warming rack are covered for 3 years. Lid, control panel, valves, regulator, and lighting components are covered for 1 year.

Do I need a rotisserie kit for the Angus or Brahma?

The rotisserie kit (motor, spit, forks) is sold separately and is the cooking accessory paired with the Infrared Back Burner. The Angus and Brahma include the 15,000 BTU Infrared Back Burner standard — it's the heat source — but the spit and motor must be purchased and installed separately. Outlaw, Lonestar Select, and Steer do not include a back burner and are not rotisserie-compatible.

What clearances does a Bull built-in grill require?

21 inches minimum from both sides and the rear of the grill to any combustible material, per the Bull owner's manual. The grill cannot be operated under a combustible overhead structure (carport, covered porch, awning) unless a UL 710 approved heavy-duty vent hood is installed and running. Built-in installations must use only non-combustible materials for the enclosure construction itself.
