How to measure (60 seconds)
- Confirm framing: Allusion Platinum is designed for 2×6 recessed installation for a flush, clean-face look.
- Opening width & height: measure your framed opening and match the “Recessed framing / cutout” values in the fit table.
- Depth available: confirm at least 5 5/8" depth (minimum) plus wallboard/finish thickness (finishing material up to 1" is supported).
- Power plan: verify a dedicated 15A, 120V/60Hz circuit (hardwire or plug-in permitted per manufacturer).
- TV / mantel: follow the manufacturer’s mantel projection chart and keep combustibles at least 36" from the front.

Installation type selector
Allusion Platinum is primarily a recessed 2×6 fireplace. An optional wall-mount kit is referenced by the manufacturer for direct-to-wall installs.
Recessed: framing opening + finishing thickness
Frame the opening to the “Recessed framing / cutout” values in the fit table. Manufacturer finishing guidance allows wallboard/sheathing and/or finishing material up to 1" thick.
Mantel / TV planning
Minimum clearances to combustibles: Sides 0", Floor 0", Back 0", Front 36". Mantel projection limits apply—use the manual’s mantel chart for your exact depth vs height above the opening.
Electrical: 15 AMP, 120V/60 Hz. Connection method: hardwire or plug-in (per manufacturer). Dedicated circuit recommended.
Wall-mount: optional kit required
For direct-to-wall installation, the manufacturer references instructions included with the optional wall-mount kit. Mount into studs where possible and maintain the same combustible clearance guidance, especially 36" from the front.
Electrical: 15 AMP, 120V/60 Hz. Use a grounded receptacle if using the power cord. Dedicated circuit recommended.

The Allusion Platinum series is built for a clean, flush 2×6 recessed install with tinted glass and hidden vents. All sizes deliver up to 5,000 BTU of supplemental heat and are designed for safe installation under wall-mounted TVs when installed per the manual.
50" model
SF-ALLP50-BK
Best for: Small-to-medium living rooms, primary bedrooms, or offices.
Why: This model is the perfect entry point for a luxury linear look in standard-sized rooms. Because it is designed to be fully recessed into a 2x6 wall, it provides a flush, integrated appearance that doesn't protrude into the living space, making it ideal for high-traffic areas where floor space is at a premium.

Why: The 60-inch model is the most versatile "centerpiece" size. It offers a 58-inch wide viewing area that balances perfectly with the most common TV sizes. The nearly invisible heater vents and tinted glass ensure that the focus remains entirely on the vibrant flames and ember bed, creating a sophisticated entertainment hub.

Why: This is the largest model in the Platinum series, stretching over 6 feet wide to provide a panoramic flame experience. It is the best choice for large "Feature Walls" where you want a dramatic architectural statement. Despite its large size, it still maintains the same 5-inch depth, allowing for a grand display without the need for deep, bulky wall bump-outs.
