Fiberglass suits interiors for the reason it suits roof decks: it is light for its size. A filled concrete planter can exceed a floor loading; the same shape in hand-laid composite rarely comes close.
Every planter we carry except the Tiergarden railing planter is rated for indoor or outdoor use, so this is close to the full range. Indoors, use the cachepot method or a liner rather than drilling, so there is no drainage path onto the floor.
