Return & Refund Policy

At Serene Yards, we want you to be happy with your purchase.

Return Eligibility
Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Custom-finished, made-to-order, and drilled-drainage pieces are final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective.

How to Initiate a Return
Contact us first! Email customerservice@sereneyards.com or call 888.254.6088 to get a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA will not be accepted.

Return Costs

  • A restocking fee of up to 30% may apply to change-of-mind returns; we’ll confirm the amount when you request your RA number.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs on change-of-mind returns.
  • For returns due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we cover return shipping and waive the restocking fee.

Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return.

The Asheville is a true cube in fiberglass, finished to look like stacked weathered walnut boards, in four sizes from 17 to 28 inches. Equal on every side, it sits as comfortably alone by a door as it does in a repeated row down a terrace.

Made from premium composite fiberglass rather than timber, it carries the grain and colour of weathered walnut without the maintenance: it will not rot, split, warp or need sealing, and it stays put through freezing winters and full sun. The texture is moulded into the body, not printed on, so it survives handling and weather alike.

Care

Fill with lightweight potting soil only, never garden soil, sand, or rocks. Wipe clean with mild soap and water. The walnut texture is moulded into the fiberglass, so it needs no sealing, oiling or staining — unlike a timber planter.

What sizes does it come in?

Four true cubes: 17, 20, 24 and 28 inches on every side. Openings run 15.1 to 24.9 inches square.

Is this real wood?

No. The Asheville is premium composite fiberglass with a textured walnut finish moulded into the body. It gives the grain and colour of weathered walnut but will not rot, split, warp or need sealing, and it is far lighter than timber.

What finishes does it come in?

One: textured walnut. The Woodland Collection is made in this single wood-look finish rather than the colour range of the painted fiberglass series.

Does it come with drainage holes?

Not by default, so it can hold a liner. You can add drilled drainage free at checkout, though a drilled planter is final sale.

How heavy is it, and how does it ship?

From 17.6 lb for the 17 inch up to 64.0 lb for the 28 inch. All four ship free by ground.
