Three product types
The three Buck Stove products we carry are not three sizes of the same stove. They are three distinct product types from the same manufacturer, with different applications and combustion technologies.
Homesteader is a wood cook stove with a functional cooktop and built-in oven. Heats up to 1,800 sq ft. 100 percent off-grid.
Model 91 is a large catalytic wood stove. Heats 1,800 to 3,200 sq ft. 4.4 cu ft firebox. Factory blower included. Insert or freestanding.
Model 21 is a compact non-catalytic wood stove. Heats 800 to 1,800 sq ft. 1.6 cu ft firebox. Factory blower included. Insert or freestanding. Mobile home approved.
Limited Warranty
Every Buck Stove product carries the Limited Warranty administered by NBC. Period I (year one) covers any part defective in materials or workmanship at no charge for parts. Period II (years two through five) covers the same parts excluding electrical motors, switches, wiring, components, accessories, and removable parts. Glass, refractory material, firebrick, and gaskets are never covered. Original retail purchaser only.

Use the Buck Stove comparison guide for the full side-by-side. The short answer: choose the Homesteader if you want to cook and heat in one appliance; choose the Model 91 if you are heating 1,800+ sq ft and want catalytic combustion with longest burns; choose the Model 21 if you are heating up to 1,800 sq ft, want non-catalytic simplicity, or need mobile home approval.
