Each planter is hand-finished when you order it. Allow 3 to 5 business days of production before your order ships. Gloss finishes need 5 to 7.
Free ground shipping
This size ships free by ground within the contiguous 48 states. You will receive a tracking number by email the moment your order ships; delivery usually takes another 2 to 7 business days.
Returns
30 days from delivery, in new and unused condition in the original packaging, with a 30% restocking fee.
If it arrives damaged
Inspect the shipment before you sign. Note any damage on the bill of lading or delivery receipt before signing — to the boxes, the planter, or the packing material. A delivery that arrives visibly damaged or not intact may also be refused outright. You are entitled to open each box and inspect the goods; if the driver will not wait, write on the paperwork that you could not check for concealed damage. Report it to us in writing within 24 hours of delivery at customerservice@sereneyards.com, with photos of the damage, the cartons and the packing material, and keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. Damage noted at delivery and reported this way is covered — contact us and we'll make it right, either by replacing the planter or refunding you. Damage not noted at the time of delivery is much harder to resolve, because the carrier claim depends on that record. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Curbside freight delivery
This size ships on a pallet by freight truck for a flat $395, free on orders over $2,000. The driver lowers it to the curb with a liftgate; plan for a second person to move it into place. The carrier will call to schedule a delivery window, so please be available. Freight transit is usually 3 to 5 business days once the pallet leaves, and up to 7 to the Mountain states and the West Coast. You will get tracking when the pallet leaves, and we will confirm the delivery window with you once the carrier books it.
Returns
This size is final sale except for a manufacturer defect or shipping damage.

Return & Refund Policy
Return Eligibility
Jay Scotts planters may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unused, uninstalled, and in the original box with all factory packing materials. Planters with drainage holes added and custom orders are final sale. This does not affect your rights if the planter arrives damaged or defective.
How to Start a Return
Contact us first. Email customerservice@sereneyards.com or call 888.254.6088 for a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA cannot be accepted.
Return Costs
- A 30% restocking fee applies to all authorized returns.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Where shipping was free or discounted, the original shipping cost may be assessed.
- You arrange and prepay return shipping.
- For returns due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we cover return shipping and waive the restocking fee.
Final Sale
Freight orders are final sale except where the planter arrives damaged or defective. Your shipping method is shown on every size before you order.
Refunds
Approved returns are refunded as Serene Yards store credit, issued within 7 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return.
Every Jay Scotts planter carries a three-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, which applies whether or not an item is returnable.

The Hollywood Corner takes the same twelve-inch square as the Miami and stands six inches taller. That is the whole difference, and it changes where the planting is seen.
At twenty-four inches the rim arrives at about table height. Foliage then sits against the wall rather than against the floor, level with someone sitting nearby instead of below them. A corner beside seating, the end of a run of cabinets, the angle behind a reception desk: in all of those a plant at floor level disappears and one at this height registers. It is the corner answer to a question the range keeps asking, which is how to gain height when there is no floor to spend.
Two faces sit flat against both walls, so the square footprint gives up nothing to a gap. The trade is stability: a two-foot box on a one-foot base wants its position settled and weighted low before anything top-heavy goes in. At fifteen pounds boxed it is still a one-person lift, because the walls are fiberglass rather than stone: non-porous, so it does not take up the water that expands on freezing, and hand-finished to order in the color you choose.
