Saigon Tapered Round Planter - 14"D × 30"H / White is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
Sizes are named by the diameter across the top: 14, 16, and 19 inches, standing 30, 36, and 42 inches tall. Each widens to a fuller shoulder just below the rim (about 17, 21, and 24 inches) and narrows to a small round base. The 14" flanks a door or fills a balcony corner; the 16" carries a small tree; the 19" is the statement size, deep enough for a specimen with height. All three read as verticals against a wall or tall window where a low bowl would disappear.

Jay Scotts hand-finishes each planter when you order it. Allow 2 to 10 business days of production before your order ships.
Shipping
Shipping is free within the contiguous 48 states, from U.S. facilities. You will receive a tracking number by email the moment your order ships; delivery usually takes another 2 to 7 business days.
Larger planters
Oversized pieces may arrive by freight carrier, who will call to schedule delivery. Please inspect the shipment before signing, note any damage on the delivery receipt, and send us photos within 48 hours. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Return Eligibility
Items must be new, unused, unassembled, and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Special orders and certain parts cannot be returned.
How to Initiate a Return
Contact us first! Email customerservice@sereneyards.com or call 888.254.6088 to get a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA will not be accepted.
Return Costs
- A 25% restocking fee applies.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

The Saigon is a tall tapered urn in round fiberglass. It opens wide at the rim, swells gently across the shoulder just below the top, then draws inward to a small rounded base, so a heavy form seems to lift off the ground rather than sit on it. At 30, 36, and 42 inches it carries real height, right for flanking an entry, anchoring a pool deck, or standing alone where a room needs a vertical.
Made from premium composite fiberglass, it stays light enough for one person to reposition yet strong enough to live outside year-round, through freezing winters and full sun, without cracking, rusting, or fading. The belly is deep and holds root mass low, which suits a single upright specimen such as a slim tree, a bamboo, or a tall grass that echoes the taper. Each Saigon is finished to order in your chosen color and drilled for drainage only if you ask, so it arrives ready for the spot you have in mind.

Living with it
Care & placement
Placement
The Saigon works indoors or outdoors in any climate. Its fiberglass body is frost-proof and UV-stable, so it can stay outside year-round without cracking or fading.
Drainage
Ordered without holes by default, so it can hold a liner or double as a cachepot. Add drilled drainage at checkout if you plan to plant directly (note: a drilled planter is final sale).
Planting
The belly is deep and holds root mass low, which suits a single upright specimen such as a slim tree, a bamboo, or a tall grass that echoes the taper.
Care
Wipe clean with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads. In freezing climates, keep soil from sitting waterlogged over winter so trapped water cannot expand against the walls.
