The Spiral comes in one statement size: 26 inches wide and 26 inches tall, with an opening about 16 inches across cut on a slant. It is large and round, meant to stand alone rather than in a group. The deep, wide belly suits a full planting or a small multi-stem tree; give it room on all sides so the ribbed surface and slanted opening read from every angle.

Jay Scotts hand-finishes each planter when you order it. Allow 2 to 10 business days of production before your order ships.
Shipping
Shipping is free within the contiguous 48 states, from U.S. facilities. You will receive a tracking number by email the moment your order ships; delivery usually takes another 2 to 7 business days.
Larger planters
Oversized pieces may arrive by freight carrier, who will call to schedule delivery. Please inspect the shipment before signing, note any damage on the delivery receipt, and send us photos within 48 hours. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Return Eligibility
Items must be new, unused, unassembled, and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Special orders and certain parts cannot be returned.
How to Initiate a Return
Contact us first! Email customerservice@sereneyards.com or call 888.254.6088 to get a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA will not be accepted.
Return Costs
- A 25% restocking fee applies.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

The Spiral is a round, bulbous barrel wrapped in a continuous horizontal groove, so the whole body reads as one coil turning from base to rim. The opening is cut on a gentle slant, which gives a heavy, symmetrical form a sense of motion and keeps it from feeling static. At 26 inches in every direction it is a true statement piece, sized to stand alone at an entry, on a wide landing, or as the single anchor in a courtyard.
Made from premium composite fiberglass, it stays light enough for one person to reposition yet strong enough to live outside year-round, through freezing winters and full sun, without cracking, rusting, or fading. The belly is deep and wide, which suits a full mounding planting, a small multi-stem tree, or a sculptural specimen that plays against the ribbed surface. Each Spiral is finished to order in your chosen color and drilled for drainage only if you ask, so it arrives ready for the spot you have in mind.

Living with it
Care & placement
Placement
The Spiral works indoors or outdoors in any climate. Its fiberglass body is frost-proof and UV-stable, so it can stay outside year-round without cracking or fading.
Drainage
Ordered without holes by default, so it can hold a liner or double as a cachepot. Add drilled drainage on request; a drilled planter is finished to order and non-returnable.
Care
Wipe clean with mild soap and water; a soft brush lifts dust from the grooves. No sealing or special treatment is needed.
Handling
At 26 inches around it is light for its size (about 22.9 lb empty) but bulky, so clear a path and plant it in its final spot.
