If it arrives damaged
Inspect the shipment before you sign. Note any damage on the bill of lading or delivery receipt before signing — to the boxes, the planter, or the packing material. A delivery that arrives visibly damaged or not intact may also be refused outright. You are entitled to open each box and inspect the goods; if the driver will not wait, write on the paperwork that you could not check for concealed damage. Report it to us in writing within 24 hours of delivery at customerservice@sereneyards.com, with photos of the damage, the cartons and the packing material, and keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. Damage noted at delivery and reported this way is covered — contact us and we'll make it right, either by replacing the planter or refunding you. If damage is not noted on the delivery paperwork at the time of delivery, there is no recourse with the carrier, and we will be unable to compensate you or resolve the issue on your behalf. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Curbside freight delivery
This size ships on a pallet by freight truck for a flat $395, free on orders over $2,000. The driver lowers it to the curb with a liftgate. Carriers are not movers, so plan for a second person to move it into place. Freight transit is usually 3 to 5 business days once the pallet leaves, and up to 7 to the Mountain states and the West Coast. You will get a tracking number when the carrier picks up the pallet; it can take up to 24 hours to become trackable.
Returns
This size is final sale except for a manufacturer defect or shipping damage.

Siena Planter - 72"L × 17"D × 24"H is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Siena has a realistic wood-grain finish that resembles natural walnut, on a fiberglass body.
That is the reason to choose it. Jay Scotts note that the finish “introduces warmth and texture while remaining easier to maintain than traditional wood planters”. The body is non-porous, so it does not take up the water that expands on freezing, and it carries a UV-resistant coating.
The trade is choice. It is made in this one finish, so unlike the rest of the range there is no color to specify. Four lengths from three to six feet, seventeen inches deep and two feet tall, taking a few large plants rather than many small ones: five thirteen-inch nursery pots across the seventy-two. Keep a soft brush for the grain texture, which holds more dust than a flat wall. Freight at every length.
Every size ships freight.
Due to the handmade nature of our products, weights and dimensions may vary slightly.
Jay Scotts Woodland Collection, wood-grain finish
Every piece we carry is chosen to last, indoors or out, and look considered for years, not seasons.
A wood-grain finish that resembles natural walnut, on a fiberglass body. Jay Scotts describe the Woodland Collection as combining the look of natural wood with the strength and weather resistance of fiberglass.
At 24 inches it holds a genuine body of soil while staying below sightline, so a run marks an edge without walling the space off.
Non-porous, so it does not absorb the water that expands on freezing and holds its shape through winter.
