This size ships free by ground within the contiguous 48 states. You will receive a tracking number by email the moment your order ships; delivery usually takes another 2 to 7 business days.
Returns
14 days from delivery, unused and in the original packaging, with a 30% restocking fee. Refunded as Serene Yards store credit. Drilled and custom planters are final sale. Freight orders are final sale except where the planter arrives damaged or defective.
If it arrives damaged
Inspect the shipment before you sign. Note any damage on the bill of lading or delivery receipt before signing — to the boxes, the planter, or the packing material. A Jay Scotts delivery that arrives visibly damaged or not intact may also be refused outright. Do not refuse a Cosapots delivery: accept it, note the damage on the receipt and contact us, because a refused Cosapots shipment carries a 30% restocking fee plus round-trip shipping under the manufacturer's terms. You are entitled to open each box and inspect the goods; if the driver will not wait, write on the paperwork that you could not check for concealed damage. Report it to us in writing within 2 business days of delivery at customerservice@sereneyards.com, with photos of the damage, the cartons and the packing material, and keep all packaging until the claim is resolved. Damage noted at delivery and reported this way is covered — contact us and we'll make it right, either by replacing the planter or refunding you. Damage not noted at the time of delivery is much harder to resolve, because the carrier claim depends on that record. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Curbside freight delivery — $395
This size ships on a pallet by freight truck for a flat $395, free on orders over $2,000. The driver lowers it to the curb with a liftgate; plan for a second person to move it into place. The carrier will call to schedule a delivery window, so please be available.

Return & Refund Policy
Return Eligibility
Jay Scotts planters may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unused, uninstalled, and in the original box with all factory packing materials. Planters with drainage holes added and custom orders are final sale. This does not affect your rights if the planter arrives damaged or defective.
How to Start a Return
Contact us first. Email customerservice@sereneyards.com or call 888.254.6088 for a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA cannot be accepted.
Return Costs
- A 30% restocking fee applies to all authorized returns.
- Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Where shipping was free or discounted, the original shipping cost may be assessed.
- You arrange and prepay return shipping.
- For returns due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we cover return shipping and waive the restocking fee.
Final Sale
Freight orders are final sale except where the planter arrives damaged or defective. Your shipping method is shown on every size before you order.
Refunds
Approved returns are refunded as Serene Yards store credit, issued within 7 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return.
Every Jay Scotts planter carries a three-year limited manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, which applies whether or not an item is returnable.

A dish gives you soil surface. A column gives you depth. The Alzira is the shape that gives both, which is why it takes a bigger nursery pot than its outside diameter suggests.
At twenty-three by twenty-two inches, thirty by twenty-eight and thirty-six by thirty-four, it is within a couple of inches of being as tall as it is wide at every size. The curved wall opens to a wide mouth and then carries real volume down behind it, so a shrub or a small multi-stem tree gets surface area for its crown and root room underneath. The opening holds at about eighty percent of the outside diameter throughout, which is generous for a bowl that draws in toward its base: the thirty-six inch takes a thirty inch nursery pot.
That capability is the whole argument for it, and the cost is mass. The thirty and thirty-six inch sizes travel by freight and are a considered placement rather than a movable one, while the twenty-three goes out by standard ground carrier and can be shifted by two people. Choose accordingly, then leave it. Non-porous, so it does not take up the water that expands on freezing, and hand-finished to order in the color you choose.
