Sizes are named for their width. The 16" sits low and wide, filling a corner without blocking a sightline, with a 13.1" opening that suits a mound of seasonal color or a clipped boxwood. The 22" (21.5" actual) reads as a centrepiece: a 17.2" opening with room for a small specimen tree or a full mixed planting.

Jay Scotts hand-finishes each planter when you order it. Allow 2 to 10 business days of production before your order ships.
Shipping
Shipping is free within the contiguous 48 states, from U.S. facilities. You will receive a tracking number by email the moment your order ships; delivery usually takes another 2 to 7 business days.
Larger planters
Oversized pieces may arrive by freight carrier, who will call to schedule delivery. Please inspect the shipment before signing, note any damage on the delivery receipt, and send us photos within 48 hours. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Return Eligibility
Items must be new, unused, unassembled, and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Special orders and certain parts cannot be returned.
How to Initiate a Return
Contact us first! Email customerservice@sereneyards.com or call 888.254.6088 to get a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA will not be accepted.
Return Costs
- A 25% restocking fee applies.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

The Shanghai Fishbowl is a round fiberglass planter with a low, generous curve that sits close to the ground and reads as sculpture rather than storage. Wider than it is tall, it softens the hard lines of a terrace, a pool deck, or an entry without crowding the space around it.

Living with it
Care & placement
Placement
The Shanghai works indoors or outdoors in any climate. Its fiberglass body is frost-proof and UV-stable, so it can stay outside year-round without cracking or fading.
Drainage
Ordered without holes by default, so it can hold a liner or double as a cachepot. Add drilled drainage at checkout if you plan to plant directly (note: a drilled planter is final sale).
Care
Wipe clean with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive pads. In freezing climates, keep soil from sitting waterlogged over winter so trapped water cannot expand against the walls.
Handling
Fiberglass is light for its size, but a filled planter is heavy. Position it before planting, and lift from the base rather than the rim.
