The San Jose comes in two tall fluted sizes: 16 and 22 inches across the top, standing 30 and 40 inches tall, each tapering to a narrower round base. The 16" suits a doorway or balcony corner; the 22" is a grand-entrance statement piece for a lobby or wide entry. Openings are about 12.9 and 18.1 inches across.

Jay Scotts hand-finishes each planter when you order it. Allow 2 to 10 business days of production before your order ships.
Shipping
Shipping is free within the contiguous 48 states, from U.S. facilities. You will receive a tracking number by email the moment your order ships; delivery usually takes another 2 to 7 business days.
Larger planters
Oversized pieces may arrive by freight carrier, who will call to schedule delivery. Please inspect the shipment before signing, note any damage on the delivery receipt, and send us photos within 48 hours. Full details are in our Shipping Policy.

Return Eligibility
Items must be new, unused, and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. Custom-finished, made-to-order, and drilled-drainage pieces are final sale unless they arrive damaged or defective.
How to Initiate a Return
Contact us first! Email customerservice@sereneyards.com or call 888.254.6088 to get a Return Authorization (RA) number. Returns without an RA will not be accepted.
Return Costs
- A restocking fee of up to 30% may apply to change-of-mind returns; we’ll confirm the amount when you request your RA number.
- The customer is responsible for return shipping costs on change-of-mind returns.
- For returns due to our error (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), we cover return shipping and waive the restocking fee.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of us receiving and inspecting your return.

The San Jose is a tall, fluted round planter in fiberglass. Vertical ribs run the full height of a narrow tapered base that widens into a broad column, so light catches each ridge from base to rim. Two sizes, 16 or 22 inches across the top and 30 or 40 inches tall, stand as a vertical accent for an entry, lobby, or wide window where a low bowl would disappear.
Made from premium composite fiberglass, it stays light enough for one person to reposition yet strong enough to live outside year-round, through freezing winters and full sun, without cracking, rusting, or fading. Living with it
Care & placement
Placement
The San Jose works indoors or outdoors in any climate.
Care
Fill with lightweight potting soil only, never garden soil, sand, or rocks. Wipe clean with mild soap and water; an occasional wax keeps the finish bright, and touch-up paint is available for deeper scratches.
Handling
Fiberglass is light for the size (12.9-31 lb empty depending on size), but set it in its final spot before planting.
