Tiergarden Railing Planter - 36"L × 12"W × 10"H / Matte Bright White is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.
The Tiergarden is a narrow rectangular planter box in fiberglass, built to straddle a railing. A notch cut into the base lets it sit balanced over a rail up to 2.5 inches wide, so it hangs level without brackets or hardware. Set flat, it works just as well as a ledge trough on a sill, wall cap, or walkway. One size, 36 inches long by 12 inches wide by 10 inches tall, runs a clean horizontal line wherever it lands.
Made from premium composite fiberglass, it stays light enough for one person to lift and mount yet strong enough to live outside year-round, through freezing winters and full sun, without cracking, rusting, or fading. The narrow, even channel suits herbs, trailing succulents, low grasses, and seasonal annuals planted shoulder to shoulder for a continuous run of green. Each Tiergarden is finished to order in your chosen color and drilled for drainage only if you ask, so it arrives ready for the rail or ledge you have in mind.
Planted with feathery succulents along a rail
Every piece we carry is chosen to survive real weather and look considered for years, not seasons.
Frost-proof, UV-stable fiberglass holds its color and shape through freezing winters and full sun.
A built-in notch lets the Tiergarden sit balanced over a railing up to 2.5 inches wide, or rest flat as a ledge trough.
Each Tiergarden is hand-finished in your chosen shade, so the color is part of the planter rather than a coat on top of it.
Every planter is finished to order in the color you choose, then shipped to you.
All twenty standard finishes are shown here, each hand-finished to order in the color you choose, at no extra cost. On-screen color is a guide and can vary slightly from the finished paint.
The Tiergarden mounts over a railing up to 2.5 in wide, or sits flat as a ledge trough indoors or outdoors.
Fill with lightweight potting soil only, never garden soil, sand, or rocks. Wipe clean with mild soap and water; an occasional wax keeps the finish bright, and touch-up paint is available for deeper scratches.
Fiberglass is light for the size (about 10 lb empty); confirm the railing width before mounting, then set it in its final spot before planting.
